Svitlana Zavialova, professionally known as Wu Woman, is a martial arts phenomenon who stands at the axis of traditional Wushu and Fine Art. She is a Conceptual Artist, Actor and Creative Director.
Wu Woman is a world champion in multiple martial arts disciplines, including traditional Kung Fu and kickboxing, and is an expert in a wide array of traditional styles and Wushu weapons. She is the first foreign female Inheritor of Emei Martial Arts Intangible Cultural Heritage, a direct lineage from Qiao Zhengquan, and is presently the International Director of Performance and Innovation for The Emei Wushu Research Institute.
Born In Crimea, Svitlana maintains residences in both sides of the world: New York City and at Hengdian World Studios, Zhejiang Province, China.
In addition to her artistic work she acts as a cross-cultural adviser for creative productions, and creates works of commercial value which transcend cultural differences.
